Hello, friends! It’s Ann. And I’m here to tell you something very exciting. I’m going to be a published author!
As many of you may know, I joined a young writer’s community last August. There, I had the opportunity to connect with a small publishing company, and was able to join an anthology they are publishing at the end of the month!
“What is an anthology?” you ask. It’s a collection of short stories, non-fiction pieces, and/or poetry by several authors combined into one book. Typically, they’re centered around a certain theme, and this anthology is about a young person’s identity in Christ alongside romantic relationships. Each piece in this book has been carefully examined by the editors to ensure that every bit is honoring to God and good reading material for teens. (And older readers!) If you enjoy God-honoring, clean romance stories, this is definitely a book you’ll definitely want to read.
On December 14th, we had the title reveal, and I am happy to say that I am the author of two non-fiction pieces in the romance anthology Tell Your Heart to Beat Again. There will be a cover reveal on January 11th, and that’s the day that preorders open as well. (No, the picture for this post is NOT the cover!) The book will ship January 28th. I’m so excited!
If you’d like to have a lot of fun and assist me in getting the word out about this anthology, I’d love if you’d join the street team for the book! A street team is simply a fancy name for a group of people who get the word out “on the street” about the soon-to-be published book. This could be done by using social media, email lists, or a blog, or simply by telling people by word of mouth. Also, when you join, you’ll get some beautiful printable bookmarks, as well as exclusive interviews and many other fun things as time grows closer to the launch date.
