Ingredients:

1 sleeve of saltine crackers

2 sticks of salted butter

1 cup of brown sugar

1 12-oz package of semi-sweet chocolate chips (Ghiradelli is definitely the best!)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F. Place parchment paper on a sheet pan. Melt butter in a small saucepan. As it melts, cover a sheet pan in a single layer of crackers. Add brown sugar to butter after it’s melted and stir often until it boils.

Allow to boil for three minutes, then pour the mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly over the top. Place in oven for 5 minutes. As soon as the pan comes out of the oven, sprinkle the entire bag of chocolate chips over the top, then let them sit for about 5 minutes, until melted. Spread chocolate.

Place pan in refrigerator until the top is fully solid. Break up toffee into pieces and place in container. Enjoy!
