I am structuring this as a recipe, but today we are not making anything eatable! It smells almost good enough to eat, but today we are making some delicious-smelling bath bombs! They’re the perfect thing to gift to almost any female you know, and it’s always fun to have some for yourself, too! Let us know in the comments if you like posts like these!

Makes: It depends!

Total time: 20 minutes; + 6 hrs/overnight for setting.

Ingredients:

1 cup of cornstarch

½ a cup of baking soda

½ a cup of citric acid

2 Tablespoons of refined coconut oil, melted

2 teaspoons of butter extract

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

½ a teaspoon of almond extract

1+ Tablespoons of water

Sprinkles (optional)

Directions:

Combine cornstarch, baking soda, and citric acid in a bowl. Stir. Mix together the coconut oil and extracts, then add slowly to dry ingredients as you mix.

Add sprinkles and water. Stir. If needed, keep adding water until it holds its shape when you squeeze it in your hand.

Spread parchment paper out onto a flat surface, placing small drops of water underneath if it won’t stay. (It’s a great trick!) Pour mixture onto parchment and press out, until about a ¼ of an inch thick.

Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter, just like you would with biscuit dough. Use any shape you like, and carefully transfer them onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. The amount of bath bombs you get will depend on the size of your cutter and thickness of your “dough.”

Allow to dry overnight, or at least six hours. Place in bags to gift to others, or in a cute container to enjoy for yourself. Enjoy!

Warning: Using colored sprinkles will probably cause the sprinkles to “bleed” a little once they’re in warm water. As a matter of fact, probably any water, and for us, all the coloring came off some of them! Watch out
