This recipe is delicious! It’s perfect for breakfast, snacks, desserts, gifts to others, and so much more. My mom’s favorite way to eat it is cut into small chunks, and she has also slathered with Nutella. My dad, on the other hand, likes it with softened or melted butter. My sister and I just prefer it plain. Let me know how you enjoy your banana bread in the comments!

Ingredients:
½ a cup of salted butter
1 cup of white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 & ½ cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
½ a teaspoon of salt
½ a cup of sour cream
2 bananas
I cup of chopped nuts or chocolate chips, if desired
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Melt butter. In a large bowl, stir together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine. Add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix again.
Mash bananas using a fork. Add to bowl along with sour cream. Fold them in, making sure to stop as soon as the batter is well-combined. Add nuts and/or chocolate chips and stir. Batter will be thick.
Pour mixture into loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool loaf for 10 minutes and turn out to cool. Enjoy!
