Ann:
Listen or read to an old sermon. It could be by your own pastor, a famous preacher, or from a pastor long ago. Find a random one, or find a subject you’ve been struggling in and listen to that. You could also find a series that centers on the Bible passages you’ve recently been reading to gain more insight on your current reading. You could even make it a habit to read or listen to one every week or month!
Emilie:
My recommendation is one of solitary goodness. I often forget how much a simple gesture means, until its absence is on my mind. But one of hugs and simple words of gratefulness to those you love. Thank your mother or sisters for the guidance they can give. Your fathers or brothers for the assurance or example of strength. A friend for their company. Anyone you value, thank with words or actions this week. That’s my recommendation. Timeless, but not always present.”
