Everyone loves spaghetti, but it can be a lot of work when you have to use three separate pans for sauce, pasta, and meatballs. This spaghetti recipe is tasty and simple, perfect for making a quick supper when you just don’t feel like making a huge effort for supper.

Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
1 teaspoon of minced onion
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of salt
2 jars (48 ounces) of spaghetti sauce
1 & ½ cups of water or broth of your choice
1 pound of spaghetti noodles (uncooked- they’ll cook in the sauce later!)
Extra water if needed
Parmesan cheese for garnish (or leave this off if you want it to be dairy-free!)
Directions:
In a pot over medium heat, brown ground beef. As it cooks, add in minced onion, garlic powder, and salt. Allow to brown.
When it is fully cooked, add in sauce and water/broth. Stir. Add pasta. You may need to break the noodles in half to fit in the pot, but be careful- it can make a mess! Noodles will fly everywhere!
Submerge pasta
under sauce and allow to simmer, stirring often to make sure it doesn’t stick
together and that they don’t stick to the bottom of the pot. Trust me- the last
happens. It totally did not happen this time because I wasn’t watching close
enough. Haha!
Let cook until noodles are soft. If there doesn’t seem to be enough liquid, add more water. Serve with parmesan cheese for garnish if desired. Enjoy!
Tip: My mother has made this and put in vegetables either grated or cut up very small, and no one was the wiser. It still tasted good, and we had our vegetables for that night all in one dish!
This pasta looks delicious! We'll have to try it some time!
