Ingredients:

1 cup of milk

4 large eggs

1 tsp of vanilla extract

1 tsp of cinnamon

A sprinkle of sugar

Around eight slices of bread, white or wheat is recommended. The quantity of bread depends on how long you let the slices soak in the mixture, and how thick the bread slices are. You can also use hamburger or hot dog buns, if that’s all you have. It’s up to you.

Directions:

Whisk ingredients together in a bowl. The cinnamon will gather on the top

In a skillet, place a small amount of butter to melt

Take a slice of bread and then use tongs or your fingers to quickly dip the slice into the egg mixture. Make sure the mixture thoroughly coats the bread, but personally decide just how “soggy” you want the bread to be.

Place the bread slice into the buttered skillet and let brown equally on both sides. Think of it as a pancake. The mixture will become crispy on the bread and golden over the heat.

Repeat the dipping and cooking process until you are out of mixture or have the desired amount of toast. You can reuse the egg mixture or add to it at any time. Enjoy!
