We’ve all had the problem. You’re writing a letter or email or talking to someone and it suddenly lags. You can’t figure out what to say, and the conversation suddenly gets super awkward. If you’re in person, you start doing that I-can’t-quite-look-at-you thing, or if you’re writing one another, you conveniently forget to write… until you remember this list!
This list is for your friends at church, the letters you send, or the texts that die out after awhile. I tried to think of questions that wouldn’t show up on a usual conversation starter list or pen pal questions list. Some are funny, some very interesting, and all are random. Let us know if you’d like another post like this in the comments!
What kind of shoes do you like best?
What do you look for when buying clothes? (Meaning styles, comfort vs. style, etc.)
Name five things currently in your purse or bag, without looking!
What’s your favorite way to wear your hair?
 What’s your favorite go-to snack?
 Favorite meal of the day?
If you could change the way you look, how would you change it?
What are some of your favorite book tropes? Least favorite?
Do you know any languages besides your first language? Would you like to? Why?
Which TV programs/movies did you watch when you were younger?
If you could have a $500 gift card to any store, which would you choose?
What’s your favorite way to fill an empty notebook? (Comment below if you’d like ideas on unusual ways to fill a notebook!)
What was your favorite childhood book?
If you could decorate your room, (money and siblings that share your room aren’t a problem) how would you decorate it?
Would you rather have pretty clothes and no accessories or boring clothes and plenty of accessories? (Accessories meaning jewelry, scarves, cute belts, etc.)
What’s your favorite type of dessert?
What’s a random fact you know?
Would you have an exotic pet? If so, what kind?
 Describe your favorite outfit.
What’s a good habit you have that took time to learn?
What did you think of this list? Can you think of any questions to add onto it? Want to answer one of these questions? We’d love to hear you in the comments!
